What is the ACTION Journal?
The ACTION Journal is a mandatory content type (at least 1) that allows your users to follow guided prompts and add personal notes to their account.
The ACTION Journal is mandatory because of the featured journal button from the homepage of your app and the journal entries button under the menu options; you can change the label of Journal entries under Menu Setup
An ACTION Journal can be used for many things, such as prompting goal setting, introspection, daily affirmations, and creative brainstorming.
We highly recommend you setup your first ACTION Journal for day 1 headspace questions and goal setting.
You can access this screen under ACTIONPAGES in the Creator Portal:
Create a new ACTION Journal
- Title - The name of your journal, as seen by your users
- Image - An image representation of your journal, this doubles as a Journal thumbnail
- Audio - An audio option for your journal, to add an audio alternative to your journal description
- Description - The text description of your journal
- Release Date - The release date of when your journal is visible to users
- Call to Action text - The text that appears on the button at the bottom of the screen
- Call to Action URL - The location your users are sent to when they click the call to action button
- Featured Toggle - When toggled, this journal will appear above other types of content. We highly recommend including at least one journal as a featured journal for your home screen "Journal" button to function as intended.
- Topics/Listings - The topics/listings this content will appear under
- Sort Order - The sort order of how this content will appear
- Tags - Tags to display this content only to specific users
- Journal 1 - 5 - The journal prompt questions that your users will read before writing their answers directly below them. Only 1 is mandatory to create a journal
